The meeting was co-organized by the Secretariat General for Public Health of the Hellenic Ministry of Health. The Consultation, organized within the framework of the Equi-Health project and co-financed by the European Commission’s DG SANTE, aims at fostering an inter-sectorial dialogue on migration health and developing recommendations into national and EU-level migration health policy and practice.

Recent human tragedies across the Mediterranean Sea, and particularly the Eastern Aegean, have further underscored the need for swift and determined action.
